From Freelux Project: “The 3rd Annual Women & Girls HIV/AIDS Awareness Day Brunch, hosted by The Freelux Project, is a transformative gathering dedicated to empowering women and girls through education, advocacy, art, and community connection. This event highlights the impact of HIV on women and girls—particularly in Black communities—and provides a space for open conversations, resource sharing, and collective action toward health equity.

Through spoken word, visual art, and storytelling, we use creative expression to amplify the voices of women and girls impacted by HIV, celebrate resilience, and inspire action. Attendees will experience live artistic performances that elevate the conversation around health, wellness, and empowerment.

Our goal is to break stigma, amplify voices, and promote access to essential healthcare services by bringing together advocates, healthcare professionals, artists, and community leaders. Through engaging discussions, inspiring testimonies, and creative expression, we aim to equip attendees with the knowledge and tools to take charge of their health and well-being.

Giving Tuesday!

In honor of Giving Tuesday we have compiled a list of some smaller, QBIPOC owned and/or focused non-profit organizations to potentially support this Giving Tuesday! This list is focused on smaller organizations, but there are of course a host of other, larger organizations that you can also donate too, and we urge you to look into those organizations (and more!) if you are so inclined :).

However, Giving Tuesday isn’t just about monetary donations! As the organization says “whether it’s making someone smile, helping a neighbor or stranger out, showing up for an issue or people we care about, or giving some of what we have to those who need our help, every act of generosity counts and everyone has something to contribute toward building the better world we all want to live in.” So get out there and show a little love this holiday season!
